SGC Genset Controllers — Single Genset Control, AMF & Engine Management
SGC series — engine management and standalone genset control
Compact, panel-mount controllers for engine control, monitoring and protection of stand-alone diesel and gas gensets. Used by OEM panel builders and end-users for prime, standby and rental power applications.
Overview
A genset controller is the electronic brain of a generator set — it starts and stops the engine, monitors voltage, current and frequency, and protects the alternator. The DEIF SGC genset controller series (SGC 110, 120, 410, 420) provides AMF (auto mains failure), engine management and protection for single diesel and gas gensets. S.A.International is an authorised DEIF genset controller supplier for OEM panel builders and end-users across Tamil Nadu.

Frequently asked questions
What is a genset controller?
A genset controller automatically manages a generator set: it controls engine start/stop, performs auto mains failure (AMF) transfer, displays electrical parameters, and trips the set on faults such as overspeed, low oil pressure, over/under voltage or overload. The DEIF SGC range covers single-genset control.
Which DEIF genset controller do I need?
For a single standalone genset, the SGC series is the right fit. If you need to synchronise or parallel multiple gensets, or parallel with the mains, you need the AGC 150 paralleling controller instead. Share your application and we'll recommend the correct model.
Does the SGC support CAN-bus engines?
Yes. The SGC 400 range provides a J1939 CAN-bus engine interface for electronic engines, alongside configurable digital/analogue I/O for conventional engines.
